A mum-of-three was left "terrified" after a man and woman jumped into her garden last night.
Katie Tanner, 36, from Southport was home alone with her three children when they appeared in her garden at 8.30pm last night.
Katie was sat at her dining room table doing an online course when she saw out the corner of her eye someone walking past the window.

When she looked through the window she was met with two people letting themselves out of her garden, and the man staring her in the eyes as he walked past.
The personal trainer told the ECHO : "I was sat at my dining table on my laptop with the kids in their bedrooms. All of a sudden I saw something in my peripheral vision and it was a male and female just walking past my dining room window heading for the back gate.

"I jumped up and he kind of turned and looked straight at me. I don't know if he thought I was going to come to the back door something but I grabbed my phone and ran upstairs.
"I made sure the kids were in their bedrooms and I rang my neighbour saying 'there's three people in my garden can you come round?'.
"They left through the back gate and headed up Cedar Street, a street just across the road from our house. Once they'd gone I went out to the cameras and looked through the CCTV.
"They've climbed over from the cemetery that is behind us, into next door's garden then come straight into our garden. They've had a bit of a look round, went through the shed, hid behind the bushes in the garden then walked to the back gate, looked me in the eyes and left."
Police are now appealing for information with regards to two people caught on camera.
A police spokesperson told the ECHO: "We can confirm that enquiries are ongoing after suspicious circumstances in Southport last night, Thursday 12 August.
"At around 8.45pm, officers were called to Portland Street to reports of a man and woman in the garden of a property, before they walked off. Nothing was taken or entry gained but the residents were left shaken.
"Local Community Policing officers will be carrying out a reassurance visit and anyone who saw the incident or anyone behaving suspiciously in the area last night can contact us @MerPolCC with reference 976."
