A mum is crediting a £5 Aldi dog product with helping her son sleep in the heat.
Getting kids to bed is tricky at the best of times and when the weather hots up, it's even harder.
"I'm too warm", "I'm too sweaty", "I need water" - as any parent knows only too well - the list is endless.
That's why mum Caroline Ebden-Smith has been quick to share her cheap hack for getting the little ones to sleep.
With her son struggling in the heat inside his loft room, she bought a doggy cooling mat from the budget retailer - and she says it's been the best thing ever.
Sharing a photo of her son lying on the £4.99 product on the Family Lowdown Tips and Ideas Facebook page, Caroline said: "If anyone is struggling to keep kiddies cool in these hot nights (especially in loft beds!) go to Aldi and buy doggy cooling gel mats! They're amazing!
"My little one is loving them and is no longer a sweaty mess."
The blue one is listed on the website as 'coming soon', but Aldi's grey version with white spots is on sale for the same price and you can get them from loads of other retailers, including Pets at Home and B&M.
