Mum surprises her children, aged 7 and 9, by buying them £141,000 Mercedes Benz

A mum who previously dropped an eye-watering £46,000 on a Mercedes-Benz GLC250 for her nine-year-old daughter and her seven-year-old brother has once again proved money is no object when it comes to the safety of her kids.

Roxy Jacenko, 41, has now purchased a second car for her kids, Pixie and Hunter, and has more than tripled her budget – spending an enormous £141,000 ($266,000) on a luxury seven-seater.

The PR guru claimed the extra seats would give more room for her the family’s pets to travel in the car with the children.

Alongside a picture of the car on Instagram, Roxy wrote: “A special gift for two special little people delivered today @pixiecurtis @huntercurtis14. 7 seats to accommodate the Curtis zoo!"

Her daughter Pixie also took to Instagram to share a picture of herself and her little brother jumping for joy in front of the flashy new car.

She wrote in the caption: “This was such a surprise! Mum told us to come to the front of the house - we thought there was a trampoline delivery - it was a new car! We told her we needed 7 seats we didn’t think she would actually organise it!”

The purchase divided opinions amongst the nine-year-old’s Instagram followers, with some deeming it “unnecessary” while others congratulated her on the gift.

One wrote: “Congratulations love. Thank God for your lovely mother.”

While another said: “What spoilt children, can’t imagine what they will be like as teenagers.”

And a third fire back to say: “Work hard and you get nice things! Shame about all the bitter jealous comments.”

Roxy previously explained her decision to buy a car for her children when she said she wanted to make sure they were “safe” on the way to and from school.

She said: "It's of utmost importance to me that both she and her brother Hunter travel safely on the roads when going to and from school so I purchased a car for her.

“Obviously she doesn’t drive it, she is driven in it as is her brother to and from school and for any activities.

"Given the number of fatalities on our roads their safety is so important so if it means buying a car that has extra safety features that’s what I’ll do.”

The new purchase also comes less than a month after Pixie shared a lengthy list of items she wants for her upcoming 10th birthday.

Alongside child-friendly gifts such as slime, new pens and a colouring book, Pixie asked for a second piercing, skincare products, make-up and to have her teeth professionally whitened.
