A mum was surprised after a stranger left a kind note on her about her children.
The mum had parked her vehicle in the Matalan car park in Leeds on Tuesday morning, according to a Facebook post revealing the note.
On the letter the stranger wrote: "You have beautiful children! Thanks for making me smile today from my car", Birmingham Live reported.
The stranger added: "From one mum to another -you are doing a fab job!!"
The note which was signed off "Sarah" with accompanying kiss and has been shared widely.
On Facebook, the recipient shared it saying: "If you were to see a note on your car on returning from a shop, you’d automatically assume the worst… wouldn’t you?!
"Well I instantly thought 'oh god, what is this?
"Then I read the note… and wow! I instantly started tearing up but held the happy tears back so my beautiful children didn’t see!"
One reader replied: "that is so thoughtful of this lady. I bet it made the mum's day. I love being told I have lovely children."
A second said: "Why pull someone apart when you can help them to fly? Don't be a negitive person, be a SARAH!."
A third commented: "That's beautiful. I would have assumed the worst too. Good on Sarah for her thoughtfulness."
"Costs nothing to be nice ,the majority you pass everyday would need a instruction booklet on where to begin its not in them," said another.
"How lovely, pity there aren’t more nice people like that instead of spitting venom at every opportunity," said another.
"What a lovely person she must be who left that lovely note. It would have made that mother's day who had a crying baby !" said another.
