Mum stunned after realising she named all five of her kids after drugs

A mum -of-five has been left mortified after discovering she has accidentally named all of her kids after drugs

The mum discovered the accidental blunder when she was pregnant with her fifth and final child and she and her partner told pals they had planned to name the boy Oscar.

The mum said her friend began 'hysterically laughing' and explained where she was going wrong.

She told Kidspot : "He was hysterically laughing which made me confused… then he called the baby ‘an ounce’ and it finally clicked."

According to the mum, an "Oscar" is a slang term for a one oz measurement of cannabis.

The mortified mum then realised her other kids also have monikers relating to drugs - from Charlie to Harry.

She said: "Charlie was cocaine, and Harry was heroin, I couldn’t see the Max connection at first - but he told me it’s a drink that has had GHB and amphetamines in it.

“I was half mortified and half hysterically laughing, hoping no one would ever pick up on it.”

The woman also has a daughter called Billy Jo - and apparently "Billy" is a slang term used for "bong".

But there is a touching motive behind each name, she has shared, with Max and Charlie being picked by her husband, and Harry being the name of her granddad.

She told the publication: "None of it was intentional which always makes me laugh.

"But I absolutely love their names and would choose them all again, I can't imagine them being anything else."
