A woman has been left stumped after finding a mystery object in a house that she is renting - and she has no clue what it is or what it's used for.
Facebook user Ruth shared an image of the item in a community group and asked for help identifying the object.
The picture shows a white container that has an open front and two cut-outs on the bottom, and it's mounted to a wall by a door.
Ruth explained the object was there when she moved in and so far she's been completely unable to figure out what it is, but soon she was inundated with answers.

Taking to Facebook, Ruth wrote: "I just moved into a new house. The previous owners were very organised - far more so than me.
"They had places and systems and nooks for everything.
"We can't work out what some of the things they installed are for."
She said the object was "little plastic house-shaped" and was stuck to the side of the fridge.
Other users of the Facebook group seemed equally perplexed, as one guessed a dog lead holder, and another thought it had something to do with a broom.
But soon someone recognised the item and said it was a key holder - and there should be two plastic birds that nestle in the item while the keys hang beneath.
Sadly, Ruth was unable to find the accompanying birds.
She said: "There aren't any birds among the keys they left behind."
