Mum struggling with screaming child thanks passenger for 'brutally honest' comment

A mum has praised a fellow passenger for their 'brutally honest' comment during a chaotic flight. She explained that her daughter had been perfectly behaved on a recently holiday up until the flight home.

Stressed and tired, the parent told how her daughter had developed a bowel issue before the flight which caused her to become constipated. Uncomfortable, the child forced passengers to endure three hours of screaming as the mum tried to calm the child.

Concerned that her child's outbursts may have annoyed her seat neighbours, she thanked them for their 'brutally honest' comment at the end of the journey which gave her some much-needed relief. According to the Mirror, the mum took to Reddit to praise the flyer who was also travelling with their children.

Recounting the hilarious exchange, the mum explained: "Needless to say, she screeched while she pooped the entire 3 hour plane ride. "She was honestly not that bad, but I was a wreck."

So when another family noticed the woman and her husband struggling, as they prepared their stroller, she welcomed the comic relief they offered.

The mum explained: "I said to my husband, 'Yup, we're definitely one and done!' A man gathering car seats for two children (probably 2 & 5) next to us chimed in to say, 'Yeah that's a great idea.' And looked at his youngest daughter and jokingly said 'Just kidding, Nora. You're great!'

"I looked at his wife and she was in total agreement. I was stressed, but they looked MISERABLE. We all laughed and I loved his honesty instead of the typical 'misery loves company' statements."

Delighted commenters thanked the mum for sharing the heartwarming story and offered reassurance to the new mum.
