A mum of four struggling on benefits has become a millionaire thanks to an amazing double-win at online bingo .
Anita Campbell, 51, won more than £500,000 twice in a matter of days.
She had been on Universal Credit due to ill health but has now bought her elderly father a new home, treated her children and paid off her debts.
Anita said: “It’s still a bit of a dream. I’m over the moon. I still can’t believe it.
"I thought straightaway, I can help my kids with this money."
The mum, from Seaham, County Durham, said of her time on Universal Credit: "It’s been more than a year and it has been very hard.
"I’ve lost weight, I’ve not been able to eat properly, which has had an effect on my diabetes."
Anita won £597,000 hours after joining an online bingo game.
Ten days after that, she bagged another £522,000 and said: “I just couldn’t believe that I’d won again.”
Anita has treated her four children to shopping trips and bought toys for her grandson five.
She said: “He rang me and asked, ‘Nana are you rich? Can I have some Lego?’.”
Anita has already moved out of her rented home into a new property, giving away her old furniture. She has also paid off debts from her mother’s funeral last year.
And despite her big wins, she still loves playing online bingo.
