Mum spots creepy reflection in sunglasses selfie photo while home alone

A woman who sent a selfie to her boyfriend says she later spotted two figures in the reflection of her sunglasses which "scared the s*** out of me".

After buying a new pair of shades online, she decided she needed a second opinion before committing to keeping them and sent a picture to her boyfriend.

But she says while she was waiting for a reply, she reviewed the pictures to see how the glasses looked and noticed "something in the reflection that didn't belong there," Mirror.co.uk reports.

The mum-of-three explained that none of her children - aged two, 14 and 18 - were at home that day and she was in the house all alone.

Providing context to the photo, she wrote: "I'm standing in my kitchen, facing the dining room. Directly through the doorway is my black dining room table and 4 chairs. That's what you should be seeing in the reflection on my glasses. Buuuut that’s not what I see.

"I see 2 figures, a young boy standing on the left and a taller (kind of unsettling) figure on the right, side by side.

"Now I should mention that I believe in and am totally open to spirits/ghosts/entities and all that goes along with them.

"I've been told by more than one spiritual/psychic medium that I have a young boy spirit attached to me and that there is also a dark energy attached to me as well.

"Anyway, I'm not sure if that’s what’s being reflected in the glasses but seeing whatever it is as clearly as I do, sure scared the s*** out of me."

It was posted in reply to a question on Quora asking: "What's the scariest thing you've found in a photo after taking it?"

Some people were left freaked out by the image, as one commented on the picture to say: "WTF! That scared the cr** out of me, and I'm just looking at the picture. I literally jumped back when I saw that… so scary."

Others were less convinced, writing: "People see what they want to see. I can't see what you see. It's just reflections/light effects. Sometimes the simplest explanations are the best!"

And another joked: "Should have got them to give you their opinions on how the glasses looked on you."
