A mum was left stunned after spotting a very rude detail in her children's bedtime story book
Stacey Brown was reading a Julia Donaldson classic to her children when she noticed something x-rated on the page.
The mum-of-three was reading "The Smartest Giant in Town" by Julia Donaldson when she noticed something strange in one of the pictures.
An image of a giant with a sock-covered foot sticking out of his trousers went viral after she pointed out that it looked like something else entirely.
Stacey took to facebook to share her find and other parents said they could "never unseen" the rude detail.
Stacey said: "How have I only just noticed this in our favourite bedtime story?"
She added: "Dirtiest giant in town.
"Trying to muffle the giggles as I read on."
Lots of other parents then checked the Alex Scheffler drawing and giggled along too.
Hundreds of mums and dads commented on the post.
One woman joked: "And that's how giants are made..."
Another laughed: "Omg!!!! Penis Foot!!!
"I used to read this book to my kids."
"I can never unsee this," added another. "It's my son's favourite Julia Donaldson book as well."
While a fourth wrote: "I noticed that and thought how could this be legal!!"
One sensibly commenter said: "You people have been in lockdown too long.
"Just looks like a sock to me."
Mum, Stacey, was "hugely surprised" by the raucous response.
She commented: "I thought it was just me and my dirty mind.
"I'm so glad it raised a lot of laughter though.
"People will never look at it the same again."
