Mum spots cheeky mishap on M&S kids' overalls - placing two animals in rude position

A mum couldn't believe her eyes when she dressed her baby in an adorable M&S animal-themed outfit, as she spotted a design blunder which made two animals look like they were being very frisky.

Not knowing whether to laugh or cry, the woman, who preferred to stay anonymous, had to do a double-take when she got home and put the £10 dungarees on her baby.

In an embarrassing gaffe by M&S, one half of a beaver had been cut off right next to the backside of a fox – making it look like they were in a very rude position.

To make things even more eyebrow-raising, the animals were located right across the chest of her daughter – making it incredibly hard to ignore.

The mum said: "I noticed this morning after the tags had been removed and God knows where the receipt is.

"I had to laugh, I do think it's hilarious. But not something I want my baby advertising on her chest."

She added: "How the person sewing the fabric together didn't notice is beyond me."

Although she saw the funny side, the woman was disappointed because she loved the print and the soft fabric of the dungarees.

Meanwhile, M&S also also found the situation amusing after the mum Tweeted them asking what had gone wrong with the print, adding that it was a tad "risky".

One staff member replied to her, saying: "I'll have a word with the design team."

The mum replied on Twitter : "Needless to say, I’ve paired it with a jumper," followed by a crying while laughing emoji.

Another staff member jumped in, saying: "That seems like a 'safe for work' idea".

However, after the mum replied saying it was actually her daughter's dungarees, an employee responded with an embarrassed face emoji.

The British retailer sells the Woodland dungarees on their website for £10, available for babies through to three-years-olds.

M&S are working on replacing the mum's item.
