Mum speechless after finding note hidden inside tub of baby formula from supermarket

When Tillz Siofele ran out of baby formula for her little tot, she didn't think twice about sending her husband out to get some more.

But after he arrived home and they put the tub in the cupboard, she thought no more of it, until she opened it a few days later and got a surprise.

Inside the new tub, the parent was shocked to discover there was a handwritten note from a stranger nestled in the top of the tin.

Alongside the folded piece of paper was a five dollar bill, Mirror.co.uk reports.

The mum, who lives in Brisbane, Australia, said she thought it was "strange" at first, but on closer inspection the heartwarming message left her feeling rather speechless.

The note, from the tub of milk powder, read: "Enjoy this little something. Happy Wealth Wednesday."

Whoever wrote it had also added some doodles to the paper, drawing a smiley face and a heart next to the words.

The money had been paperclipped to the note.

Curious about where it had come from, Ms Siofele took to social media to share her find.

She posted a photo of the kind gesture on Facebook, where it garnered plenty of attention.

Some people were quick to suggest that it might have been left by a woman named Susanna Lucy, from Camira.

Susanna is known for her acts of kindness in the area, often leaving small surprises for stranger in their groceries.

She later confirmed that she had been behind the note.

Speaking to news.com.au, Ms Lucy said: "There’s not enough of that sort of stuff that happens. I get a lot out of it too obviously."

She added that she loves to make someone else's day.

Ms Siofele was inspired by the gesture and has decided to pay the money forward, as she herself doesn't need the five dollars, but someone else out there might really benefit from it.
