If your numbers get called several times during a prize raffle, do you expect to win multiple prizes? Well, one woman who would answer yes was left baffled after she was denied from winning several prizes during a recent charity raffle. Having purchased "loads of strips", she was thrilled when her number was called three times, and she won a spa day and a bottle of champagne as her first two prizes.
But she was left gobsmacked when the organiser told her they would draw the third lot again, claiming it would be unfair to give her yet another prize.

Keen to know if she was being unreasonable to want her third prize, the mum took to the internet to complain. However, nobody could agree on the correct raffle etiquette when she explained what happened in a post to Mumsnet.
In her post, the woman explained she won three times in a row, but before she had a chance to collect her third prize, the organiser planned to give it away. The caller said "oh let's put that one back since it's your number again Sandra, let's make it fair to everyone else".
Unhappy, the winner then "walked up and asked what she was doing". In response, the organiser told her to sit back down as it was not fair to keep giving her the prizes.
But the winner did not agree. "The other price I won was a selection of vouchers! I want it," she said. In response, people were quick to debate the fairness of the matter, with many unable to agree who had responded appropriately.
One person thought: "The charity part is that you bought the tickets. You aren’t a charity, in that it’s not your job to share out your winnings with others!"
And a second said: "That is absolutely not on. It's up to you to say oh you know what let's put that one back in. Or not. Otherwise what is the point of the raffle."
But another person revealed: "Decades ago, when I was young, raffle etiquette was that you didn’t take a second prize, but let them draw it again so someone else got a chance."
Someone else suggested: "It's a bit cringe not to put the number back yourself."
Meanwhile, a different commenter wrote: "Personally, I'd be thankful for what you have won already and move right along."
