After a tough couple of years battling the pandemic, many households have been putting their Christmas decorations up as early as the beginning of November to get into the festive spirit.
But when is it acceptable to take them down?
A mum has divided opinions online after she revealed when she takes her Christmas tree down.
Sonia Parker shared a video on her TikTok @soniaparker6 of her exceptionally clean living room after she'd rid it of all of her festive decorations - in the evening of the 25th.
In the on-screen caption, she joked: "What kind of mum puts their Christmas tree down on Christmas night when the kids go to bed..."

But she never expected the video to get so much attention.
Since being posted, the video has racked up almost 30,000 likes and thousands of comments from people who said that she was "mean" for taking it down so early.
One person said: "That's so wrong. These poor children."
Another wrote: "Probably the sort of parent who doesn't let their kids play with toys, paint, Playdoh etc because they think their house is more important."
A third asked: "Why even bother putting it up?!"
Someone else added: "Aww that's mean. Just because you don't like them, don't deprive your children."
Others rushed to defend the mum,
"These comments... Normalise taking down Xmas trees whenever we please. Some people rely on normality. A little understanding goes a long way."
"I thought I was the only one!" wrote another.
"No one even notices the Christmas tree by Christmas day anyway.
"My 14-year-old had her tree up for two weeks before Xmas and took it down Xmas Eve."
"Ours up on 22nd, gone by 27th. As far as I'm concerned that's four days too long."
Sonia later responded to the criticism, where she said: "WOW... well you guys have sure kept me entertained over the last couple of days. My three beautiful children are happy and healthy guys. It's a tree."
