The simple, but effective, life hack will help keep your little one entertained without making any mess around the house - it's a win-win.
In the post caption, she wrote: "Don’t you just love a good mom hack?

"If baby can push to stand, keep a watchful eye to be sure baby doesn’t face plant in the water causing drowning."
In her Insta-video, Allegra was seen carrying her baby son to her dishwasher and placing him in front of the open appliance.
She was first seen opening the dishwasher door all the way down so her baby could sit and reach it.
The parent then placed a towel down to stop the floor from getting soaked before pouring a small jug of water into the dishwasher door.

The clip showed the following instructive captions: “Put a towel down. Set baby up. Pour water in the door.
"Look at that! A free indoor water table."
The video went on to show Allegra’s baby boy happily playing with the refreshing set-up, along with the following subtitles: “Tag me in your happy water baby stories!”
The simple hack appears to be an ideal way of keeping a toddler entertained while a parent is busy working on something else for a short period of time.
Allegra admitted in the comments that her idea was inspired by seeing her baby playing with leftover water while she was loading plates in the dishwasher.
Fellow users and parents were very impressed with the innovative solution as the video received 10,578 likes.
One person commented: “I’m totally gonna use this!"
Another wrote: “That is an amazing idea!!!!”
A third replied: “GENIUS! I’m gonna try this when my youngest gets a little older”
But a different Insta-user wanted to point out an important detail for parents wanting to give the hack a go: “As long as you use a non-toxic dishwasher detergent, because regular dishwashing detergent is toxic and gets left in the dishwasher door.”
