Mum shares video of incredible 'raw and real' birth watched by 1 million people

A first-time mother has shared an incredible video of her giving birth which has been watched by more than a million people.

Sarah Stevenson, 26, documented her labour journey - from when she first felt contractions on March 24 to her son's arrival on March 26.

"This is the vlog I've always wanted to make," she says in the clip posted on March 29, which has so far had 1,470,850 views on her YouTube channel Sarahs Day.

The honest video shows the highs and lows of labour, the pain she experiences while pushing, and the support she receives from her partner Kurt.

One scene shows her stood in the shower, groaning as she pushes.

She captions that part of the footage: "I wanted to see my Mum so she came in and prayed over the baby and I. This was a really emotional part of my labour."

Sarah, from Australia, begins the 25 minute video bouncing on a gym ball, seeming relaxed and unphased.

The graphic video takes viewers through the whole process - including the drive to the hospital, her going back home, before going back into hospital again.

Her partner also talks to the camera, saying how well she's doing.

In part of the footage she describes being exhausted and losing motivation, admitting she was screaming for Kurt to help her.
