Mum shares unique name she likes for baby - but some say it'd be better 'for a horse'

Some parents have been settled on their baby name choices for as long as they can remember, but for others finding the right one can be a real challenge.

One mum-to-be has recently shared how she's found a 'unique' name that's a possibility for her unborn daughter but she's not sure if people will think it's 'trashy' and 'made up'.

So she's turned to fellow parents online for some much-needed advice, asking fellow mums and dads for their thoughts on the weather-inspired moniker.

The unnamed pregnant woman took to BabyCentre UK to share her dilemma and the name she's considering.

Writing on the Baby Name forum, she asked: "Have you ever heard [of the] name Breeze?

"I want to have a unique but not trashy and made up name for my daughter. I can't remember when or where I have heard this name, but I kinda like it.

"Could you please share your thoughts with me on [the] name Breeze for girls?"

A number of people responded to the woman's plea for advice, with many agreeing that it 'sounds trashy'.

One person claimed the name would be more appropriate "for a horse" than a human.

Someone else said: "It screams trashy to me... sorry!"

"Definitely on the trashy end for me," replied a third.

A different user pointed out: "I imagine there will be plenty of wind/fart jokes made at her expense as a child."

However, not everyone was opposed to the moniker and some liked it and urged the mum to use whichever name she wanted.

One fellow parent wrote: "Definitely doesn’t remind me of a child’s name but nor does Bambi, Rebel, North, etc and I don’t dislike them in the slightest. I think it’s all such a personal choice that you kind of have to just go with it if it’s a name that you like!"

While a second thought it was a good middle name option, adding: "Yes I have heard of it and like it. Considered as a middle name for us, wanted more than a one syllable 1st name as our last name is one syllable."
