A mum has shared a shoe cleaning hack that she claims leaves them looking "brand new", and others have been quick to call it a "great idea" and an "awesome tip".
Many cleaning tips involving the use of shaving cream have been circulating online over the past few months, with people using it to clean carpets, car seats and more.
One woman wanted to test it out on her shoes, to see if the miracle hack could erase the grime and dirt caked onto the fabric.

Sharing a picture of her shoes before and after applying the shaving gel, the mum took to the Cleaning tips and tricks Facebook group to praise the results.
She wrote: "Another shaving foam clean. Sorry. I left the shaving foam on for half an hour, wiped it off with a damp cloth and popped into the washing machine on a quick 30° wash they look brand new, honestly they were filthy."
The post has amassed more than 4,500 likes, as well as almost 2,000 comments from Facebook users sharing their opinions on the unusual hack.
One said: "That is wicked I’m going to try it on my Converse"
A second shared: "Oh my god, that's amazing! Been waiting for someone to do it on their white Converse and share the results, so I can try! Thanks."
"I actually can’t wait to buy shaving foam and try this," echoed a third.
A fourth revealed: "Ohhhh I’ve got loads of pairs of Cons that need cleaning. May try this.

A sixth stated: "What a great idea".
"Wow they look amazing," a seventh impressed user wrote.
One group member even suggested an alternative method of getting dirt off of shoes, writing: "I clean all my shoes with dawn dish soap and a scrub brush, they look brand new afterwards."
