A breastfeeding mum has come up with an inventive way of getting her baby to sometimes drink from a bottle - and parents are hailing her as a 'genius'.
When babies are exclusively breastfed from birth, mothers can often find it a struggle to get them to adapt to a bottle later on when, perhaps, the need to go back to work or perhaps just need a restful night's sleep and want dad to take over the night feeds.
And while there's no right or wrong way to feed your baby, one mum has come up with an inventive hack to help those mums who have decided to introduce a bottle to their baby.
The mum, who goes by the name of Shishka Boobs on TikTok, says all you need is a pair of rubber bra inserts - or 'chicken fillets' as they're more commonly known.
Sharing a step-by-step video to TikTok, Shishka is seen cutting holes out of the centre of the rubber inserts and pushing the teat of the bottle through, writes The Mirror.
The mum then fills up the bottles with milk from the fridge, to demonstrate her point, then feeds the bottle to her toddler.
While her own little one is already weaned on to solid foods, Shiska thought sharing the hack might help other exhausted mums who are looking for a way to gradually wean their baby off the breast.
Nevertheless, mums on TikTok were impressed, with many hailing her as a genius.
"This is GENIUS," one mum wrote, while another added: "Omg I need to try this with my two-year-old."
"There you go, now dads can feed the babies and mums can get some rest," another TikTok user suggested, while a fourth agreed: "Now you can leave the house and daddy can take over!!!"
