Everyone has their own secret for trying to get rid of a red wine stain on the carpet - with white wine or piles of salt often suggested.
But none of them seem to work particularly well, leaving people to resort to harsh chemicals or expensive professional cleaning.
But one mum has shared her hack using a small amount of £10 butter from The Body Shop.
She shared the idea on the popular Facebook group Mrs Hinch Made Me Do it, claiming The Body Shop's gentle Camomile Cleansing Butter made the stain disappear, reports The Mirror .
The stain was large, covering much of the woman's floor according to the Sun , but the cream got rid of it within a few minutes.
She wrote: "Camomile cream from The Body Shop works a treat believe it or not! Removes wine. Removes makeup. I'm sold!"
