Mum shares devastating effects of bullying on her son who 'wants to die'

A video of a little boy crying and saying he wants to die after being bullied at school has gone viral.

This Morning shared the devastating video, which was originally posted by a desperate mother to show the reality of the effects of bullying on her son.

The clip of nine-year-old Australian boy Quaden was shared by his mum, Yarraka Bayles, on Facebook and has since gone viral.

The video currently has 18m views and has propelled celebrities, including Hollywood actor Hugh Jackman, to share videos of themselves telling Quaden they are his friend and encouraging others to be kind.

The heart-wrenching clip, which his Brisbane mother shared in order to show the devastating effects of bullying, shows Quaden sitting in his car after being picked up from school.

In tears, he says: "I want to die right now."

His mum can be heard saying: "I want people to know, parents, educators, teachers, this is the effect that bullying has, this is what bullying does."

Quaden, who has Achondroplasia, a common form of Dwarfism, looks at the camera in tears and says: "I'm gonna kill myself."

He has been bullied because of his dwarfism.

The video has been shared more than 300,000 times on Facebook and has more than 150,000 comments.

Richard and Judy discussed the effects of bullying and the rise of the "Be Kind" movement which has gathered pace since television presenter Caroline Flack took her own life at the weekend.
