Mum shares child's hillarious and honest answers to homeschooling maths work

A mum has shared her child's answers to a homeschooling maths questions - and the results have left other parents 'in tears laughing'.

The woman posted a picture of her kid's homework which asked for the child to name each polygon shape.

Millions of children are currently being homeschooled as a result of school closures due to the UK-wide lockdown in place to try and drive down coronavirus cases.

However rather than writing the name of each shape as square, pentagon, rectangle, etc, the youngster gave the shapes the 'human' names, Jeff, Sarah, Bob, Isobel and Amy.

The post gained almost 1,000 comments after it was posted to the Lockdown Family Tips and Ideas Facebook page from people who said it had brightened their day.

One said: "Is it bad that id be really proud of this."

Another said: "THIS!! please shake your child’s hand for me! Genius!"

"This made me giggle. Well done to your child, defo put a smile on many peoples faces," said another.

A fourth added: "OMG ! I'm actually sat here with tears rolling down my face from laughing."

"Brilliant deserves an A+ really made me chuckle," said a fifth.

Another added: "Brilliant! I would give this full marks as the instruction was followed. The work setter should have asked what type of polygon is each of these!"
