A mum has shared the brilliant moment her son's baby monitor captured his hilarious midnight chat with Alexa.
The woman shared the video on TikTok which shows her little boy waking up in the middle of the night and asking Alexa with help on a pressing issue.
The mum said she puts the Amazon assistant in her son's room to play lullabies to help get him to sleep.
But one night the youngster woke up and crouched over the device saying "Alexa, I need daddy".
The virtual assistant responds: "What should I add?" before the little boy reiterates "daddy" - at which point Alexa hilariously replies to say: "I've added daddy to your shopping list, is there anything else?"
The puzzled youngster then replies "Um, no" while his mum can be heard laughing in the background, reports the Mirror.
The brilliant exchange has gained more than 3.6million views from people who found the touching moment hilarious.
One viewer said: "The little 'uh.. no' at the end, bless this cute little child! Hope daddy was delivered ASAP!"
A second suggested: "You gotta add a shortcut that calls dad's phone when someone says that."
And another wrote: "I just want to see what exactly it added to the shopping cart."
But others were more interested to find out what else they could order from Alexa, as one asked: "Wait, you think Alex will add a man to my shopping cart too?"
