A mum decided to set up a "cheater-catching" Facebook group for single women after being left heartbroken by a negative dating experience.
Sarah Webb, 35, found out a man she had met on a dating site had been lying to her about being terminally ill and cheating on her with three other women.
Their relationship lasted for about nine months, and Sarah was led to believe the reason he didn't always respond to her calls and messages was because he was ill.
But Sarah uncovered the truth when another woman sent her a message on Facebook confessing she was also in a relationship with the same man, Leeds Live reports.
The women, from Leeds, then found out that the same man was seeing two more women as well.
Sarah decided to create the group 'Who's talking to who - Yorkshire' to report abusive, cheating and lying men.
She said she launched it to make sure that other women do not go through a similar experience.
Sarah said: "I set up the group last year after I had a very bad experience with online dating.
"I was seeing a guy for around nine months and out of the blue, a girl messaged me saying she had been seeing him for three years and he had also been seeing two others.
"He told me and my daughters he had cancer and was going through treatment, but it was actually one of the other women that he was seeing that had cancer which is why he knew so much about it.
"I was a member of the 'who's talking to who' National group and I thought it would be good to have one just for Yorkshire.
"Online dating is a minefield and there are loads of men that are in relationships or are abusive and I think it’s good to have a support group where women can come together to talk about it.
"When I challenged him about it, he blocked me, I was left heartbroken."
Sarah explained she set up the cheater-catching group to stop other women from going through a similar experience.
She added: "Nobody should be hurt."
Asked if she ever suspected the man was lying, Sarah added: "He was very weird about his phone, he wouldn’t use it near me and I only saw him twice a week as he made up excuses like he was tired from the chemotherapy or work."
The group currently has 132 members and women often post pictures of guys they are dating or talking to, asking if anyone else is talking to them or knows anything about them.
Sarah is now happy and in a new relationship with a man she met through a mutual friend, but still continues to support single women facing the "minefield that is online dating".
