A mum who stumbled across an incredible abandoned mansion on a hike sent her daughter a video - but failed to notice a ghostly face staring back at her from one of the windows.
The mum filmed as she walked around the "great old house" and gave a commentary to her daughter Rebecca to provide a bit of background.
But Rebecca was far more distracted by a detail her mum had missed, and uploaded the clip to TikTok with the caption: "My mom sent me this video of a mansion she found on a hike and I just noticed a FACE in the window."
As her mum explains that she was told it was the 'Murphy house', she says: "I don't think they've lived here for a while because it looks pretty deserted.
"It must have been gorgeous in its day. I could just imagine walking round here in some fancy dress. It's just amazing, it's just beautiful."
But she was seemingly oblivious to what appears to be a child's face sat staring blankly out of an upstairs window.
It's racked up nearly two million views on the video sharing platform, leaving others thoroughly freaked out.
One wrote: "OMG that is a CHILD! Why did I have to see this before bed?"
Another commented: "All my serotonin just left my body."
But - thankfully - one person offered an explanation, saying she knew the house and that a doll's head was kept in the window to keep tourists away.
Rebecca then posted an update after seeing the comment, with a second video showing the camera zooming in on the figure in the window to clearly show a mannequin head.
Although some were relieved to have 'closure', it provided no comfort to others who said: "Yep I'm done no sleep tonight."
