A mum of two admits she smokes cannabis daily after her kids have gone to bed and claims it makes her a better parent.
Caitlin Fladager, from Vancouver, Canada, acknowledges that it is a taboo as she admitted her daily habit, the Mirror reports.
But she said it is no different to drinking wine once the children are asleep in bed.
In an Instagram post she wrote: "Yes, I have two kids. Yes, I smoke weed daily.
"It’s so funny to me how frowned upon marijuana is. No one looks twice when a mom says she enjoys 'mom juice' aka wine, after her kids are in bed. But when a mom says she smokes weed, it’s a huge shock.
"I talk about this to bring awareness. I feel as not enough people talk about this. Marijuana has helped me so much, especially when it comes to being a mom."
She explained how she sleeps better and wakes up rested and with a clear mind, and says her weight is healthier as she's been able to ditch the anti-depressants she had been taking.

One man posted sarcastically: "Good job, setting a perfect example for your kids."
Another added: "Weed don't make anyone a better anything."
Recreational use of cannabis is legal in Canada.
