A mum found a clever way to stop her children from getting up too early and it all revolved around an Ikea clock.
When Megan Gough was struggling with light mornings last year, she decided to take action - and her genius idea is so easy to replicate.
Megan wanted to teach her then three-year-old about telling the time, and most importantly, the time when it is OK to wake up the adults in the house.
Megan went out and bought a cheap white clock from Ikea and coloured in different sections, making it easier for her daughter to tell the time.
Before half six is the red zone, meaning it is not time to get up and they should go back to bed.
Between half six and 7am is the yellow zone, meaning it fine to get up and play quietly in their room.
And finally there is the green zone, from 7am onwards, when it is fine to wake up the adults.

Sharing a picture of her creation in a mum's Facebook group, Megan, said: "If anyone's going to be struggling with light mornings. This was a plain clock from Ikea, my 3 year old now knows when to get up. Green is good to go."
Speaking to the M.E.N's Manchester Family, she added: "So she gets up when the glittery hand is in green, if she's awake in yellow, she can play quietly in her room but not in my room and red is back to bed.
"She is really quite good, just the odd problem like waking me up at 1.30am because 'I have no socks on'. Ha! But she does look for daylight to get up and I anticipate a problem with summer coming."
