All parents know the relentless struggle of trying to get kids to swallow a spoonful of foul-tasting medicine.
But one mum has come up with what she calls the 'parent hack of the century' to win the battle - and it's actually very simple.
According to Rach, who writes the Mummy Looks Funny parenting blog, her daughter is more than happy to take her medicine - as long as it's turned into a delicious spoonful of 'unicorn potion' first.
She said she came up with the hack, which other mums are calling 'genius', when she was "at her wits end" with a tantruming toddler who needed antibiotics.
Rach says her method "works every time" and decided to share it with her Facebook followers, reports the Mirror.
She explained: "What you do is; get your stinky medicine that your kid has been flat out refusing to take. Measure the required dose and put it on a spoon.
"Grab some rainbow sprinkles. Dealers choice for the brand. I'm a high roller so we have Tesco's own make.
"Sprinkle the sprinkles onto the spoonful of previously repulsive liquid.
"BAM! You now have yourself some delicious and magical unicorn potion."
Parents went crazy for the hack and her post has been shared more than 16,000 times.
One weary mum replied: "My four-year-old point blank refuses to take any medication, even doctors can't get it in him when he's ill.
"I'm definitely giving this a try, it's genius!"
Another asked: "Why wasn't this hack around when we were 'forced' into taking a spoonful of cod liver oil??"
While another mused: "Would it work for my dog?"
But the simple sprinkles trick didn't seem to work for everyone, with one mum commenting: "Tried that and everything else imaginable. Nope, spits it right back in your face."
