Children in England are now returning to school after months of being educated at home as part of strict coronavirus measures.
Getting back into the school routine might prove tough for both parents and children, so one mum has shared a simple trick that is guaranteed to help speed up the getting-ready process.
Mum-of-four Shannon Doherty often shares handy parenting tips and tricks on TikTok, but she says this is her best one yet.
In a video that has been viewed more than 82,000 times, Shannon explains that the hack will see your children putting their own shoes on quickly, without confusing their lefts and rights.
She suggests cutting a sticker in half and popping one half in one shoe, and the other half in the other shoe.
This way they'll be able to match the stickers up and put their shoes on by themselves, giving you a couple of extra minutes to get yourself sorted.
Since being posted, the video has been liked more than 12,000 times and has received almost 70 comments from impressed viewers.
One person said: "Love this idea!!! Thanks for sharing."
Whilst another added: "SOOO SMART! This will save me from saying, 'the zipper goes on the inside' for the thousandth time!"
"Perfect... It's so easy for children to put their shoes on the right feet," commented a third.
