When Zoey Jackson was just two months old, her proud mum Amy was stunned as she rolled over for the first time.
Just a month later she was sitting up and by the time she was six months, Zoey had taken her first steps - months before babies normally hit the development milestone.
Amy, 33, from Ohio in the US, was completely taken aback and admits she didn't think it was possible for children to walk so earlier.
Her two older children, Ashlyn, 15, and Lily, four, didn't take their first steps until after their first birthday.
Amy, who works in an escape room, said: “I was so shocked by how quickly Zoey was developing. I didn’t think it was physically possible.
“She looked too small to be walking.
“She is a little spitfire who is very independent.
"She will climb and jump on everything.”
Amy credits the pandemic lockdowns for Zoey’s ability to start walking at such a young age.
She said: “I was unable to work during the lockdown as my workplace was shut so we were at home a lot.
“I think Zoey has wanted to chase and play with Lily from the moment she was born.
"All of us being at home definitely helped with her development.
"By eight months she was running around after Lily.
"It was incredible to see as she was so tiny!
“I am so proud of her.
“She is such a clever little girl.”
