As we enter into the sixth week of the lockdown, boredom has well and truly kicked in for the majority of people.
Most people have taken up a new hobby or set up some goals to get through the days a little faster.
But one dog owner decided to give her dog a unusual lockdown makeover - without giving her mum the heads up.
Caitlin O’Connor set about her beloved pooch Ted with some green hair dye specially made for dogs.
A video taken by the woman from Derry, Northern Ireland, shows Ted scrambling into the kitchen to be greeted by a shocked mum.
She screams: “What did you do to Ted? Caitlin, what is that green stuff?”
“Dog hair dye?”, responds a slightly nervous Caitlin.
The hilarious video has gone viral since Caitlin posted the clip on Twitter on Sunday evening.
Nearly 17,000 people have liked the clip while another one and a half thousand have shared the tweet.
Caitlin captioned the video: “Highlight of locking: dying the dog green without my mammy knowing.”
Responding to the clip, one user says: “Love how the dog is stood like, “so…what do you think?”
Another wrote: “Ted is very clearly a cherished member of the family.”
