A mum-of-two has revealed an odd post-covid symptom that she has found to be quite common.
Suzanne Gordon from Maghull said she had suffered from Covid-19 at the end of October last year.
At the time Suzanne was double vaccinated and just suffered from flu-like symptoms until her smell and taste disappeared.

Her taste came back around four weeks after testing positive, although her smell is yet to fully return. Since having covid, Suzanne has also had an odd symptom that she has found to be quite common amongst people.
She has been suffering from a distinct smell of smoke, primarily in the evening and overnight, leaving her paranoid as to whether there is an actual fire.
The civil servant told the ECHO : "I had covid at the back end of October and I was double vaccinated at the time so I had flu symptoms, wasn't well for a couple of days, lost my sense of smell and taste around day three. Then I was fine in terms of recovery.
"The sense of smell hasn't come back properly but my sense of taste came back probably about four weeks after testing positive.
"About a month ago, roughly eight weeks after having covid, I could smell, at an evening in particular, smoke. It varies from burning rubber to an electrical sort of smell that made me get up in the middle of the night to check the house wasn't on fire. You end up being paranoid with it.
"I've been reading up on it and there's quite a bit about people experiencing the smell of smoke. I just put a post up [on Facebook] out of interest because I've not heard many people talk about it and I was quite surprised because what I found interesting was that 99% of the people that commented were women as well.
"On that post, there's a lot of women who had covid before the vaccine was even a thing. One person said they had covid back in March 2020 and they're still experiencing strange smells, smoke being one of them. I thought it was quite interesting that although it's not very well known, people are still experiencing it."
Suzanne took to a local Facebook group to ask whether others in the area shared her frustrations.
Shre posted: "Out of interest, has anyone on here developed a smell of smoke (mines predominantly in the evenings) after having covid?
"I’m 3 months post-covid, but still haven’t got my full sense of smell back and often I’m overwhelmed with a smell of smoke. I’ve read it’s fairly common, so just curious."
More than 30 comments appeared on the post as people were quick to weigh in with their experiences.
One person commented: "Aw I just been reading some of your comments, I had covid over Christmas and lost sense of smell and taste it’s not returned I can taste and smell now and again, hope it returns soon." With a number of others agreeing with Suzanne.
One person shared a different experience that they had. They wrote: "I had a weird hot dog smell for about 2 months it used to make me feel sick."
