A serious Garda manhunt has been launched to find two creeps who tried to grab a two-year-old Dublin child from her mother's grasp and bundle her into a car, Dublin Live can exclusively reveal.
The innocent infant was near her own home and almost at the front door with her parent in the Tallaght area when the shocking incident happened.
Only for her brave mum mustered up the strength to battle off the sickos at Donomore Green by herself, her tiny baby would have been in the back of a black Skoda.
Her mum told Dublin Live: "My infant was nearly taken on Wednesday morning, at the end of my hill near my house. She is just two-years-old.
"Two men in a black Skoda car ran at me and tried to steal her.
"I just grabbed my baby and ran. I kicked my own front door in because I thought they were coming after me."
She continued: "This happened just before 10am on my own road as I was on the way back from the school run.
The worried mum added: "She's still in shock but thankfully she is okay.
"Hopefully everyone will be on the lookout for these and they will be caught immediately."
A Garda spokesman confirmed the horror incident to Dublin Live.
He said: Gardaí are investigating a report of an alleged suspicious approach that is reported to have occurred on the morning of Wednesday, 21st October in Donomore Green, Tallaght."
He added: "No further information is available and enquiries are ongoing."
