Mum's message to man who approached daughter

A mum was blown away by a kind stranger who saved the day as her daughter had a "massive anxiety attack".

The woman's daughter was trying to buy chips at Victoria Road Fish & Chips in New Brighton, Wirral on Thursday, October 28.

But she didn't have the correct cash for her order and didn't know where the nearest ATM was, having only recently moved to the area.

The confusion sparked an anxiety attack, which can include an increased heart rate, sweating, rapid breathing, feelings of weakness and trouble concentrating.

Fortunately a "lovely man" stepped up to give a helping hand.

The woman took to a public Facebook group to share her thanks for the kind man's actions.

She wrote: "Just wanted to say thank you to the man who just paid for my daughter's chips at Victoria Road fish & chips.

"She had massive anxiety attack and only had her card, didn't know where cash point was (just moved here!)

"It's refreshing to know there are still good people out there. Again, thank you so much."

Several people commented below.

One wrote: "How kind x"

In response to someone saying there's a cash machine next to the chippy, the woman said: "Easy when you know where one is, but unfortunately she isn't good with knowing where them sort of things are in a panic!

"The lovely man had stepped in to help in time."
