Mum's message after stranger approached daughters on night out

A mum praised a stranger after they helped her daughters on a night out in Liverpool.

The mum was quick to thank the woman who approached her two daughters whilst out in Liverpool City Centre on New Years Eve.

The woman, reportedly named Gemma, helped the daughters and one of their partners get home safely.

Unfortunately, the only information the mum has about Gemma is that she's from Seaforth.

She took to Facebook in an attempt to find and thank Gemma for her kind-heartedness that helped the three of them get home safely.

The mum posted in a community group: "Hi all, hope this is OK to post but I'd like to thank a lady named Gemma who made sure my two daughters and her girlfriend got home safely last night in a taxi from Liverpool City centre.

"All I know is her name is Gemma and she was from Seaforth, I really appreciate what you did thank you so much, hope you have a fabulous year."

One person commented on the post: "All good news about Seaforth and its residents is welcomed. Thank you Gemma."

Another said: "Wonderful news!! That there are people who have good kind hearts it was a lovely thing to do be safe and take care everyone."
