A mum was left horrified after a 'real life' newborn doll vbought for her daughter arrived looking like something for Halloween.

Chloe Hirzel was looking forward to the arrival of the life like baby doll her her aunt ordered as a gift for her 16-month-old daughter Eva.

But when the doll arrived from selling site,Ultraflowers.com, little Eva was left terrified by its disturbing face which looked nothing like the advertised product they had seen on the website.

Speaking to The Record , Chloe revealed her aunt paid around £33 for the doll and waited six weeks for it to arrive.

She said: "My daughter was super scared and she doesn’t get scared about anything. My aunt paid $60AUD and it took about six weeks to finally get here."

While her daughter was terrified of the doll, the end Chloe said she fould it hilarious - but warned others not to be conned by dodgy selling sites.

Other shared pictures of 'real life' dolls they have been 'scammed' with. (Facebook)

She said: "I thought it was hilarious and so did my Aunty, we couldn’t stop laughing, but it’s really sad that there are people out there getting ripped off by these scum buckets. My Aunty took it back home, I didn’t want it in the house just in case my daughter found it."

While the doll won't be used as a toy for little Eva, Chloe says the family will still find some use for it, adding: "It’s definitely a Halloween prop that will be brought out every October 31st."

Chloe share pictures of the creepy doll to Facebook and warned others against the risks of buying online.

She said her aunt actually complained to the website but "When your lovely Aunty wants to buy a ‘lifelike doll’ online for your baby, coming from China. Expectation vs reality.

"She wrote a complaint saying ‘this is the most awful looking doll I have seen in my life, it looks nothing like the photo as advertised, and is actually peeling god knows what.

"The response she received was ‘we actually think this one looks pretty good, and maybe you can use it in other ways’ Hmmmmm I’m sorry the only use for this will be on October 31st!!"

Fellow parents agreed with the Australian mum with some saying the doll looked 'possessed'.

One said: "I'd be more worried about it coming to life at night.... Here comes chucky."

Another said: "I think its Annabelle. Not baby Annabelle, the one from the horror films thats possessed."

Another said her sister had also been 'scammed' but a similiar site selling 'real life' dolls and shared a picture of 'the baby Grinch'.

She said: "These are pathetic, my sister did exactly the same. Knew there was something a miss when it come through the letter box!!!! That baby Grinch will be exactly the same too!"
