Mums go wild for Aldi fabric conditioner - insisting it's more than a laundry product

House-proud mums are going wild over a discount supermarket fabric conditioner - because it cleans up on windows and radiators.

A social media post obsessing over Aldi's own-brand product went viral online with dozens of shares with shoppers insisting it's more than a normal laundry product.

They're using the fresh-smelling £1.75 bottle to clean anything but clothes - including jewellery, Mirror Online reports.

On Facebook page Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK , users shared their hacks on how to use the product to clean surfaces from windows, wood and anything high gloss.

The thread started after one woman told the group she'd discovered that the fabric softener mixed with warm water was perfect for cleaning windows and mirrors.

How to clean your house like Mrs Hinch

"A new cleaning hack for you...windows, wood and anything high gloss, cap full of fabric softener and warm water. Rub on, rub off," she wrote.

"I love it. I've done my lounge windows and PVC, fireplace, snow globes, plant pots and pic frames looks and smells amazing.

"Seen a lot of people use Comfort but I used Aldi Almat for just over £2.

"You can use on tiled or wood flooring too! The results are amazing!"

The woman said to make the concoction, she mixes one cap of softener with three-quarters of warm water into a large bowl.

"If it goes on creamy/slimy the just add more water," she advised.
