A mum's simple birthday cake creation for her Fortnite-mad son has become something of an internet hit.
Kelly Nugent-Smith was struggling to afford a cake maker, so she came up with her own idea.
As her son loves , particularly the Burger Man character, she bought a simple burger cake from Asda and transformed it.

Spending £11 on the ready made cake and just a few quid on some ready to roll icing, she said the whole thing cost less than £15, a fraction of the cost of having one professionally made.
Sharing pictures of her creation on the Reduce Your Supermarket Spend Facebook page, she said: "My son is Fortnite mad and loves this Burger Man. It's his birthday tomorrow and I just can't afford to go to a cake maker so I bought the burger cake in Asda for £11, bought some white ready to roll icing for £1.75 and some red for £1.75, I had green food colouring and black writing icing and made it into the character. The whole thing only cost me £14.50 and I think he'll love it."

Her post has had a massive reaction from people praising her 'genius' idea and saying they'll be making one of their own.
One said: "Wow, that’s fantastic, might try this myself."
While another added: "Omg amazing. I'm going to copy your idea for my son's birthday."
Speaking to the M.E.N's Manchester Family , Kelly said she was amazed by how much attention her cake has got, receiving 1.6k interactions on Facebook.
She said: "I showed my son the cake and he loved it and he's blown away by how many likes the post has got.

"I saw a friend had done something similar so that gave me the idea.
"I would have loved to spend money on a cake maker but I'd rather but the money towards presents that he'll get more use out of rather than a cake that'll be gone the next day."
