A surprise gender reveal cake had a mother-to-be and her guests in stitches after the treat looked to have a very rude feature.
The cake, shaped like a pregnant tummy kitted out in a denim boob tube and skirt with glam pearls draped around the bust, was ordered by the woman’s mother-in-law.
But the unusual design could have gone to waste as a footprint on the tummy stole the show - after guests claiming it looked like a penis poking out of the skirt.
One of the pregnant woman’s friends posted a photo of the cake on Facebook group 'That’s It I’m Cake Shaming', where social media users were quick to mock it.
One person commented on the snap: “Oh, it's a foot? I thought it was a penis.”
While another said: “It took me quite a while to realise that foot was not a penis.”
The phenomenon of gender reveal parties started in the US about a decade ago and has slowly seeped into British culture since.

She intensely looks into the camera for a few seconds before releasing a fart and a cloud of blue smoke.
Ginn captioned the footage "gender reveal", later adding that "all future gender reveals are cancelled".
