Mum's 'game-changing' bathroom hack means you’ll never have to deep clean shower again

When it comes to housework, one of the jobs we always put off doing is deep cleaning the shower.

But one clever woman claims to have come up with a 'trick' that means we don't have to worry about doing this ever again.

Mum-of-four Jeannie, who posts on TikTok under the name alittleaboutalot has revealed her simple hack for keeping the shower clean after each use.

The savvy parent shared a video on the platform, showing how she keeps a long handled sponge in her bathroom and the handle is filled with a mixture of washing up liquid and vinegar.

Each time she uses the shower or bath, Jeannie then wipes down all the surfaces with the sponge, to prevent it getting dirty or mouldy.

After going over the shower with the sponge, the mum then rinses it down with water.

In the clip, she explained: "I have one of these in each of our showers and baths and it has half [washing liquid] and half vinegar.

"After I'm done taking a shower, I clean the shower so there's no deep cleaning shower days.

"I have it in the kids bathroom too and after they take a bath, the older ones will do a quick scrub and it'll keep the bath clean too."

Yes, apparently it really is that easy to avoid a deep clean. It might take a little effort more often, but it saves time in the long run.

Jeannie's video has now been viewed over 422,000 times with people going wild over the hack.

One viewer proclaimed it to be the "answer to all my problems".

Another branded it a "game-changer".

"This is so smart," wrote a third.

Someone else commented: "This is life changing."

"This is the most Monica Geller thing I've ever seen," added a different user.

In the replies, some people also asked questions about the cleaning hack.

Jeannie responded to a few, telling them that the products she used did not make her bathroom smell like vinegar.

She also made a separate video showing how the sponge could be used on glass doors as well. She repeated the process, wiping the glass with the long handled sponge and rinsing it, before going over it with a squeegee to remove water marks.
