Mum's fury after delivery driver dumps £165 worth of groceries outside house

A mum was left furious after a delivery driver dumped £165 worth of groceries on the oil-stained garage floor outside her house.

The woman shared in a scathing post on Facebook after finding a pile of food she had ordered from Woolworths.

The mum, from Sydney, Australia, claimed the entire delivery, which included a large variety of fresh produce, frozen products and pantry items, was just dumped outside her home

Alongside an image of the pile she wrote: "This is how I found my delivery this morning."

Determined to be home for the delivery, she rushed her children to school and was home by 8am.

However, she found out that she had already missed the delivery.

She wrote: "I receive a call at 7.45am (an hour earlier than they told me) saying they are here with the shopping asking where to leave my order.

"There is no safe place!! The only safe place is my car spot.

The accompanying photo in the post showed a large pile of groceries on the oil-stained concrete floor of the garage.

The mum was then forced to carry all of the loose items up three flights of stairs to her home.

A Woolworths spokesperson reportedly reached out to the young mother apologising for the state of delivery and assuring her the matter would be investigated.

Woolworths Australia has been contacted for comment.
