Mum's emotional tribute to her 'beautiful baby boy' who died after falling ill

An anguished mum has paid an emotional tribute to her "beautiful baby boy" who died after falling ill.

Emergency services, including police and an ambulance crew, were rushed to a property on December 13.

The child, from Dewsbury, was rushed to hospital but sadly died, as reported by Yorkshire Live.

Police have launched a probe to establish what happened.

A card, attached to a floral tribute left outside the home, carries a heartfelt message from the boy's mum, who also has three other young children.

It reads: “To my beautiful baby boy. Mummy can’t even begin to tell you how much you will be missed.

“The world seems to be so still and silent without you here, putting the world to rights.

"You have left a big hole in mine, your brothers, and so many of the family and friends’ hearts. I will love you always.

"Share hugs and kisses until I see your beautiful face again.”

Neighbours described a loving single mum and a family of happy, healthy children, who often played out in the street.

One man, who did not want to be named, said: "I will say one thing, she's a very good mother.

"One thing you can say is those kids are always very well turned out and always very well fed."

The neighbour added: "It's a very nice, close-knit community around here.

"Everybody always looks out for each other."

Another neighbour said the family is well-known in the area and can be often seen playing outside.

"They just seem quite happy kids," she said.

"I just can't imagine what she's going through, all the family really, the kids too."

West Yorkshire Police said the boy's family are being supported by specially trained officers.

A spokesman for the force said: "Emergency services were called to an address in Dewsbury on Monday to a report that a baby had been taken ill.

"The boy was taken to hospital for treatment but sadly passed away.

"Enquiries are ongoing into the circumstances regarding the death at this time and the family is being supported by specially trained officers."
