A couple shared their heartwarming moment of double celebration after the arrival of their baby girl.
Natalie Abdullah and Danny Wallace welcomed daughter Nola Rose into the world at Liverpool Women's Hospital on April 29.
After spending a few days in labour, Natalie underwent an emergency caesarean section due to her still not being fully dilated, the Liverpool Echo reports.
The parents were 'over the moon' when their little one finally arrived, however there was still more good news to come.
As Natalie was given her baby to hold for the very first time, Danny felt it was the perfect moment to get down on one knee.
In a video, Danny proposed to his partner of two years, with the help of his young daughter.
Dressing up in her first outfit, midwives held up their new daughter, wearing a baby grow that read 'Mummy will you marry Daddy?'.
The 33-year-old said he had been planning the surprise for several weeks and just knew he wanted to propose after Natalie had given birth.
He said he told the midwife what he wanted to do and the staff were 'amazing' as he was feeling the nerves.

Danny said: "I don't know where the idea came from, I just knew I wanted to do it.
"I was putting her off by saying there's no chance of us getting married and she was just in shock.
"It was the first time she saw the baby as well."
The couple, who have children from previous relationships, have yet to set a date for the wedding, but plan to tie the knot in Greece.
But Danny said things are uncertain at the moment with the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
Messages of support have been flocking in for the happy couple, with people across Liverpool quick to offer their congratulations.
After sharing their video on social media, Sarah Stafford said: "Well I've just cried. My fella's binned."
Norma Rooney said: "OMG I'm sobbing, congratulations."

Kayleigh Phelan said: "I've just cried at this."
Stevie Ball added: "This is the best I've seen."
Danielle Leatherbarrow said: "This has made me bawl crying! How amazing, congratulations to you both."
Now seven months old, Nola Rose has settled into her loving family as Danny thanked everyone for their well wishers.
Adele Callaghan said: "This wins the internet today. Congratulations."
Suzanne Highcock said: "This has just brought tears to my eyes, how lovely. Congratulations to you both."
