A savvy mum has revealed a simple way to clean your oven shelves without much elbow grease - and all you need is tin foil and a dishwasher tablet.
It can be one of the most disgusting cleaning jobs to do if you allow dirt and grime to build up so the method, shared on TikTok, has won much praise, reports the Mirror.
The woman starts by removing the wire shelves from the oven, and then covers them completely in kitchen foil.
She then pops them into the bath, before filling it with hot water - just enough to submerge the trays.
Finally, she puts a dishwasher tablet into the bath with the pans and leaves them to soak for two hours. Then you wait.
After two hours, remove the foil and you'll be blow away. The once greasy and grotty shelves, look brand new.
The secret to the "life-changing" hack is the chemical reaction between the foil and the tablets which breaks down all of the dirt.
You may never have to scrub your oven shelves again.
