Mum's bizarre time to eat Christmas dinner leaves people divided

A mum has suggested an unusual Christmas dinner hack that has left other parents completely divided.

The mum suggested that having Christmas dinner the night before is the way to go, but her idea didn't go down that well with everyone.

She questioned whether it makes more sense to eat Christmas dinner on Christmas Eve, sparking a debate on Facebook, reports BirminghamLive.

The innocent question posted on Facebook read: “Looking for folks opinion on eating the BIG Christmas dinner on Christmas Eve...is this a thing?

"Just feel I miss out on spending quality time with my children on the special day cause I'm always so busy in the kitchen."

While some parents were quick to show support, adding that they’d done the same for years and it is “the best thing we ever decided to do”, others disagreed.

One person commented: "In my opinion one of the best things about Christmas day is cooking the meal”.

Another countered: "We have ours on Christmas Eve then watch a Christmas film and relax.

"Christmas Day is much less stressful for me as I don't spend lots of time in the kitchen and we can go and visit family without clock watching."

Others suggested they ditch Christmas dinner altogether and go to the pub - while some admitted they order a takeaway.
