Mum's back-to-school purchase from Next sale goes viral for relatable reason

An innocent shopping blunder has gone viral due to the fact it's so relatable.

One mum shared her back-to-school purchase from the Next sale on a popular Facebook page and it quickly gained a lot of attention.

Louise Suntah revealed she had ordered a neon pink bag at a discounted price from the high-street retailer ready for September, however, when it arrived she realised she'd made a big mistake, reports Birmingham Live.

Posting on the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK group, she wrote: "I ordered a bag from the Next sale. I thought my daughter could use it for school.

"It just arrived. Edit* (crisps for size comparison)."

Louise showcased the bag next to a packet of cheese and onion crisps to reveal how tiny it was.

Since being shared, the post has received nearly 6,000 likes and 2,000 comments with loads of people sharing their own online shopping size mishaps.

"This post has cracked me up," a fellow parent wrote, while a second took to Facebook to say: "Prime example of why I hate online shopping. Never get what you're expecting."

"Took me ages to realise the crisps weren't inside the bag when it arrived," added a third, and a fourth chipped in with: "Glad it's not just me that orders like this".

"Hilarious", a fifth branded the incident.
