A mum received serious chemical burns after she splashed oven cleaner on her arm in a Mother's Day accident.
Hayley Cinnamond, 21, has been left with a "rotting" arm after she accidentally splashed some Oven Brite on her left forearm on Sunday.
Hayley, from Liverpool, said the oven cleaner she bought from Poundland didn’t sting.
But she followed the warnings on the label to be safe, and washed her arm for 20 minutes to try to get the substance off, the Liverpool Echo reports.
The mum admits it was difficult to clean thoroughly because she was running around after her two little boys.
Throughout the next day, Hayley, who is mum to 19-month-old Oliver and four-month-old baby Noah, noticed the area was becoming red and irritated.

But it was only when her arm started to turn black that she decided to get it checked at a medical centre.
She revealed it felt like her skin was “rotting away", adding: “My arm started bubbling.
“It was that bad I could not feel a thing in the middle of the burn. This is the first time I've used the product.”
Hayley said that the chemical burn was smothered in hydrogel and was bandaged up by medics, who advised her to head to A&E.

Hayley visited Whiston Hospital’s A&E department where doctors told her that the pH level on her skin ranged between 10 and 11, when the optimum level should be 5.5.
She was referred to the burns unit and kept in overnight, with her partner Stephen Penquet, 27, looking after the children while she was in hospital.
Hayley was discharged the following afternoon, but must return next week to check on the progress of the burn.
Specialists told her that she may have to undergo surgery - and possibly have a skin graft.
Hayley told of her painful ordeal in an effort to others of the dangers of oven cleaner.
She said: “I can’t believe the damage it’s caused; my skin has fallen off and the area is raw.

“You do everything with your hands, especially with two young children.
“It feels as though my skin is pulling every time I pick up my children.”
A spokesperson for Oven Brite said: “We are extremely sorry to hear that burns of this severity have been sustained while using this product.
“Oven Brite does contain a very dangerous corrosive liquid which should be treated with the utmost respect and all the advice on the packaging and bottle should be adhered
“We are duty bound by various regulations to ensure that this product carries the relevant warnings about the risks associated with the contents, both on the product and the packaging, but, that said, unfortunately accidents can occur, but are few and far between."
