Mum's appeal after losing precious part of necklace containing baby's ashes

A mother is seeking the public's help after losing a precious part of a necklace that contains her baby's ashes.

Suzan McComb launched a Facebook appeal after misplacing the piece of jewellery on Scotch Street in Armagh city centre at around 3.10pm on Thursday.

The 32-year-old said: "If anyone knows of someone finding either this little part that has our baby's ashes in it or the breastmilk cage can you let me know?

"I brought the necklace to Ewarts Jewellers and between there, Emersons and back to my car it has been lost.

"Obviously I am very keen to get it back as I wear this EVERY day."

She told Belfast Live: "I have the chain as I was leaving the chain into Ewarts Jewellers to get it fixed.

"I placed the three parts of of the necklace into my purse in the jewellers. One part had the ashes of of our baby in it and two parts were breast milk from feeding each child. I have one breast milk cage that had remained in my purse."
