A woman claims she was called fat and then dumped by her Tinder date after travelling 82 miles to see him.
Jade Savage says she spent £93 travelling between Leicestershire and Peterborough but was left stunned when her date told told her that she had "put some weight on".
The date was over in five minutes despite Jade spending more than three hours travelling for it, Manchester Evening News reports .
Since then, the care support worker has set up a joke GoFundMe page to recover the £93 she spent.
The mum-of-one told The Sun the pair had met a few times before and she was chatting to him on the phone when she arrived.
She explained: “That’s when he said, ‘F*** me, you have put some weight on haven’t you?’ I was like, ‘No, you can’t say that.’
"It was clear he wanted to call the whole thing off but I still hoped we could have a nice time so we went to his car.
“But he said, ‘I can say it, it’s a fact. You have put weight on, so therefore I can joke about it.’
“I called him a pr*** but he then went berserk and said, ‘You what, you think I’m a pr***?’ He drove me back to the station and told me I had put him in a bad mood and that I had to go home.”
However, since the disastrous date, Jade has been given £750 in donations on her Gofundme page and has even received offers of dates from strangers.
