Mum pleads 'help bring my baby home' after teen not seen for six days

The mum of a missing teenager is pleading for help to bring him home.

Aliona Bivol made a poignant post on the Missing People Scotland Facebook page in a bid to track down her 16-year-old son David Bivol.

It is believed he may be wild camping in rural areas around Edinburgh .

The teen is from Northampton but Edinburgh Police are assisting in the search for him.

He hasn't been seen since Wednesday, November 6.

Last night, Aliona made a plea for help on Missing People Scotland.

She said: "Please help to find my missing 16 years old son. He is missing for six days now.

"It a belief that he may adventure survival camping in Scotland.

"Please watch out for him. Help to bring my baby home. Please contact 101 or myself."

David is described as 6ft 1" and slim with short brown hair.

Edinburgh Police issued a statement last week saying: "David Bivol, 16, has been reported missing from Northampton and is believed to be in the Edinburgh area."

Northamptonshire Police also issued as appeal for information on Facebook.

They said: "Officers are re-appealing for information to help find a missing teenage boy

"David Bivol, aged 16, was last seen at around 8am on Wednesday, November 6, in the Northampton area.

"He is described as 6ft 1in, of slim build and has short brown hair. It is thought David may have been wearing jeans and a t-shirt when he was last seen, and took a bag with him.

"David, please make contact with us to let us know you're safe.

"Anyone who sees David or has information about where he is should call Northamptonshire Police on 101, reference MPN2/3502/19".
